Q.
Where will my surgery be done?
A.
Your safety and comfort is of prime importance to us. The majority
of our elective surgery is done in a fully accredited ambulatory
surgical center. Certainly aesthetic procedures can be performed
in the office but for more involved surgeries an ambulatory surgical
center offers distinct advantages. You will arrive one hour before
surgery, and after your procedure is completed, spend approximately
one to two hours in the care of a fully trained recovery room
nurse. Your nurse will be with you until you are discharged to
your home.

Q.
How Long Does It Take?
A.
Not as long as you would think. Most procedures can be performed
on an outpatient basis, require no overnight stay, and usually
only take a few hours. Youll probably have to come in a few hours
before the surgery to prepare, and you'll need to stay a few hours
after surgery to recover from the anesthesia. But then you'll
be back on your feet and a friend or relative will escort you
home to recover in your bed.

Q.
Will There Be Scars?
A.
Yes. Will they be noticeable? Probably not. Your surgeon will
make every effort to make the scars as minimal as possible and
to try to hide them within the natural lines and creases of your
skin. For the majority of procedures, your scars will fade over
time and become less noticeable.

Q.
How Long Will It Last?
A.
Procedures that focus on rejuvenation, such as facelift, forehead
lift, chemical peel and eyelid surgery can last 5-10 years. Procedures
that reshape or correct an imbalance such as surgery of the nose,
chin augmentation, breast reduction offer more permanent benefits
that may last a lifetime.

Q.
Will Everyone Know?
A.
Usually not. Good plastic surgery enhances your looks naturally
without drawing specific attention to an area.

work within 7-10 days depending on the type of work they do. Your

Q.
How much does it cost?
A.
The prices have come down over the years while the quality of
the care has gone up. Since almost every procedure can now be
performed on an out patient basis, a hospital stay is rarely required,
and this reduces the cost dramatically. Prices have become so
reasonable that just about anyone can afford it. Fees may be less
than you may expect and vary according to the procedure. There
are two main components that make up our fees. One is the surgeon's
fee and the other is the facility fee, which includes anesthesia
and all supplies.
